Roorkee: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has assured to increase the sugarcane purchase price, said Laksar MLA Sanjay Gupta.
Sugarcane farmers met local BJP MLA Sanjay Gupta at his residence and shared their grievances related to the low returns from crop due to increased input costs. They urged to request CM to incease the cane price.
Gupta called CM over the phone and told him the demands of farmers. During interaction, CM assured that the state government will increase the sugarcane purchase price.
