Pune: West Indian Sugar Mills Association (WISMA) is all set to organise a one day workshop on ‘Process Engineering/Manufacturing’ for the sugar industry in Pune on June 17, 2019. It is jointly organized by WISMA and Deccan Sugar Technologist Association (DSTA).
The one-day event will witness 300 delegates across Maharashtra, Gujarat and North Karnataka.
The programme commencing on June 17 will feature talks by experts on important aspects of the sugar industry.
SS Mohan Patil, Sales and Marketing Director from Reggiana Riduttori SRL Italy will deliver a talk on ‘Latest technology in sugar processing worldwide for sustainability and better future’, and Sh DM Raskar, CEO, Shreenath Mhaskoba Sakhar Karkhana Ltd, will guide on ‘A step ahead towards considerable cost reduction and revenue enhancement’.
The stalwarts of the industry are likely to join this seminar. The Workshop will be inaugurated by the Sugar commissioner of Maharastra, Mr. Shekhar Gaikwad.
